I need your help
Why do they have it and we don’t; because we didn’t start it ; I only need you to build it. It is a thing that will give us stutters in Kuwait a lot. Would you help me to start it? In most countries of the world there are Institutions, organizations, and support groups for people who stutter, I have been searching for one in Kuwait or any other Arab country; and found nothing. Dear Bloggers I will need your help to pass my announcement to those that you know that stutters or have a friend or relative that stutters. I would appreciate it and will never forget your support. TF, I told you before that i'll help you with that, but my question is, whats your purpose?
In order to get people who stutter to get in touch with you, they might wanna know whats the purpose of this support group you're trying to arrange. I think that drawing the lines & explaining your target of establishing this group will help you in two ways:
1. You will have a clear understanding of your objectives and aims.
2. People who stutter will have a preliminiry idea about this support group and its objectives, and that would encourage them to get in touch with you.

I have every thing written in power point, I have been working on that for a long time alone.
What I need now people to help me start it you could write Stutter in Google.com and see what institutions and support groups are doing for stutters around the world.

TF, I do not know anyone in/from Kuwait (present company excluded) except for a very good friend who grew up there.
However, I will most certainly keep you and your efforts in my prayers.
In addition, I don't know how much help it would be, but I have several friends who are psychologists in California and they work extensively with similar support groups. I could ask them for recommendations on starting such a group if that would be beneficial?
Another option that perhaps you could consider if you haven't already, is contacting some of the specialty centers to ask for their recommendations on kick starting the group. Maybe someplace like The Michael Palin Centre.
Finally, I humbly offer my own blog space as well if you like. :)

I have a cousin who stutters too. He is in college now. He is really a cool guy, and has a hilarious sense of humar. He is that kind of a calm guy, but when he throws a joke, it kills :P
I remember one time he was working on some steps to help him when he stutters, i forgot where he got them from.
I read many posts about your stuttering. I almost cried when i see all the pain that you go through. I hope sharing this feeling would help you.
Also thank you very much, I learned alot about how to treat a stutterer. I usually wait for them to finish, but sometimes i do the mistake and try to complete their sentence :(
I hope you feel much better now (I know its an old post).
Anyway, I'll check with my cousin to see if he knows anything. If I got any info, I'll let you know. And I'm from Saudi Arabia.
