Eyes
The first thing I look to in a person is her/his eyes; I keep staring in their eyes while talking to them. Some people think that what I do is something rude, they mean when looking into a guy’s eyes. It is something that I can’t control; I will not talk if I don’t look into their eyes. I think it is something related to the brain, some kind of connection between my brain and the person I am talking to brain and it is linked by the eye contact. I some times forget names of people but never forget their eyes.

Yeah I do that 2 :)
Purg;
Do what? look to people into their eyes or think that this is rude?
S.q8eya;
It really Irritates me when they do that.
Ra-1;
Looking to his eyes is much better than standin there in front of him saying nothing.
تكاسر الريال بعيونها
What kind of expression is that?
I don't do that; and even if that what people think that I am doing; I don't care.
Believe me Ra-1 محد راح ينفعني و محد راح يعرف يعبر عني أحسن مني.
I once saw a program on discovery channel related to this topic. It was about how could you tell that the person is lying by looking into his eyes. If you know the technique you could always tell if the person was lying or not. However, there are ways to beat this "eye- lying-detector".
I don’t know why ppl get annoyed when looked in their eyes. Maybe its because they’d feel they’ll be exposed when lying. I had a job interview couple of months ago, & the interviewer was a nice guy but he kept on talking & talking for a loooong time. I just maintained a perfect eye contact & nodded from time to time without actually paying real attention. The feedback I got after the interview, he said “Man that guy is a good listener” :D
what do u mean by your last sentence?
Bo ghazi;
I don't know that technique; and don't want to know it. It will not do me good.
And about the interview; sheft shloon the eye contact yenfa3 :)
Ra-1;
I meant looking rude (Yet I am sure I am not) would be ok if I could express my self, coz no one could do it for me.
I hope no one will think u are rude!
and about expressing urself I didnt mention anything about that :)
Ra-1;
What is it with you today?
Eye contact = speak
Speak = express my self
No Eye contact = No speak
No speak = No express my self
Fahamtay ?
nothing with me today!
why are u upset?
TF, the eye contact technique nifa3 more than its required.. the guy rejected me saying that i was "over qualified" for the position!!!
Not upset sweetie; just finding it hard to explain it to you.
Aham shay fahamtay wella la'a?
Bo ghazi;
It is the first time I hear that a person is over qualified for a position !!!
Look people in the eye, for two reasons, one it is better for concentration and two to mesmerize them ;)
Well consider yourself luck... you're talking to that person :D
luck = lucky
Purg;
ashwah :)
Bo Ghazi;
I know
I know
I know Luck = Lucky
;)
eeeh
true faith , i feel like you were talking about me !
i always keep eye contact to the person i'm talking with.
i was in a training course once and i asked a question. and during the break a mid. aged man came to me and asked about the answer ! he couldn't complete what he was saying because of the eye contact! i guess that he was too shy ?
it's like ... he was 1000 mitres away from me and he couldn't say a word!
tf, there is nothing wrong with maintaining eye contact during a conversation , i think it's the best way to talk and to keep the person concentrated ... and it's not rude :)
ok .. i have to stop typing!
Bo rashed;
Is it that you don't respect a person with such behavior?
at least someone is with my opinion here :)
why would a woman feel embarrassed when looked straight in the eye!
bo rashed allah egaweek
its open for anyone to answer..
BoGhazi ...
I think it is the female nature!
OOh so I am not a female !!
i like to look and be looked in the eye. thing is i cant do this with all the males i know for other reasons. i think it depends on the nature of the person
I think Shopaholic Q8eya's answer was right. I think there's absolutly nothing wrong with a woman who maintains an active eye contact while having a conversation with someone, regarldless if that someone was a man or a woman.
i do that too... it's not rude, it means ur concentrating on what the person is saying, that's very polite and u make the person feel like there's somebody actually paying attention to what they're saying...
i love eyes when it comes to guys :p i can't say a guy is hot unless i see eyes ;p so if there was a hot dude talking to me, i won't make eye contact or else i'll faint or melt or something :p
You better avoide talking to me then :P
yes we aint suppose to have eye contact with opposite sex
i before i considerd iltizaam use to have very sharp eye contact, i d look the person straight in the eye,
if i see a person staring at me i ll stare back till they mover their eyes away,
so its not easy for me to avoid eye contact i try my best im usually good at it and they understand why i dont look at them,
its no disrespect or anything
just plain deen
and its called ghad al ba9ar
and its part of 7aya2
and 7aya2 is part of 2iman
:)
off topic, I like this song & thought i'd share it with you guys. Enjoy :)
oh & Q80blogger, I dedicate this to you. Its by Oum Kalthoum I hope you like it.... or maybe not :P
hehe
m3lesh bo ghazin i quit listening to music,
and its not heavy metal so khali walli:P
yeah i use to look at the eyes when id talk not stare!!!!!
staring was for those who would stare at me from long distance or short or whatever that i didnt know
Q80blogger, who said it was music?!?!
well why do you make me listen to a woman reading the quran
if a woman cant even say sub7an Allah if a man goes wrong in quran while leading prayer then how about that!!!
but her voice isnt really feminine 2aslan i dont think there is any fitna from her voice but shari3a is shari3a
unless you dedicate it to other women
wow am so extreem :P
You know what q8ibloger;
If I wasn't a Muslim I would hate Islam because of your way in describing its rules.
You are not a Mufti and you have no right to say what is haram or halal especially in things that Mufties their selves had argued about.
I don't like to stare at someone's eyes when that someone is talking and close to me. My mind will start to drift and think funny things about the face and the eyes and the nose and whatever specially if I don't know what that person is talking about!! If there is a distance yes I think I will have this eye contact during the whole conversation.
Ghafar Allah lee wa lakum
sc ... cute ha? :p
thanx for the apology you sent
:)
You are welcome Q8ibloger.
No hard feelings :)
